A Long Labor Day Weekend in Mendocino and Russia River Valley

Lisa and I got away for our long Labour Day weekend. We started with two days in Mendocino in our luxury room with a sauna, a log fire and a hot tub on our own deck. We stayed at the The MacCallum House Inn.

On Saturday we went for a cycle ride along the coast, it really reminded me of Dorset, in England.

Except they don’t serve Banana split with Mushroom ice cream, which was surprisingly nice!

We then joined Ellie and Daniel for some wine tasting in and around Russian River Valley. We packed in about 10 vineyards and came back with 17 bottles, ranging from $8 to $30 a bottle!
