In a recent blog posting Steven Sinofsky talked about how the Windows 7 team has really gone to town on personalised content. The Release Candidate has just launched and the new backgrounds are now available for everyone to see. In each country there’s a different pack of photos, the US ones are awesome. Here are my two favourites:

Stonehenge at Dawn, Wiltshire, England River Thames and Tower Bridge at Dusk, London, England
  (Note - If you’re not running the UK version of Win7 you can still find them in the US build in the hidden folder C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT\MCT-GB\Wallpaper.) In addition to photos there’s some interesting artwork. Some people will hate these and I personally won’t use them. But I can see how these will really float some people’s boats.
